What the job is about:

Delivering a great customer focused proposition, including the best range, a great trade plan and competitive prices

Checking if the category has a long term customer led plan, to drive loyalty

Delivering the customer promises of "I can get what I want" and "the prices are good"

Working with my stakeholders to ensure the right product arrives at the right place, at the right time, and for the right price

Writing and agree the buying plan with the Manager

Identifying savings/ income and negotiate with supplier for the best price

Identifying potential suppliers and assess their suitability

Assessing and reviewing the branded supply base, and legal contracts in place

Interpreting customer insight and refine Multichannel trade and events

Supporting the buying plan delivery for the customers

Delivering great ranges and product innovation, across all formats, channels and affluence levels

Hitting the sales and margin targets and then beat them

Developing the supplier base to achieve competitive advantage

Negotiating product cost and rebates to continually drive down costs for our customers

What you will need:

University studies

At least 2 years of experience in procurement (retail), experience in a large international company (FMCG) is an advantage

Knowledge of English is essential as it is used daily (B2 level)

MS Office, especially Excel

Great communication skills

Customer focus is a must

Ability to work in matrix structure

Demonstrated negotiation and stakeholder management skills

Strategic thinking and excellent analytical skills
